Faculty: Dance Instructors
Miss Susan has been instructing and choreographing dance in many genres, including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Broadway/Musical Theater & Lyrical for more than 30 years. She has studied in several cities across the USA and has taken master classes, conventions, and workshops from many dance experts in their field such as Al Gilbert, Mia Michaels, Frank Hatchett, Gus Giordano, and Joe Tremaine. Miss Susan has choreographed several musicals in Richmond Hill and in the West Michigan region, as well as award winning choreography for competition teams in MI and GA, not to mention hundreds of recital dances over the years! Miss Susan is super passionate about dance and watching the growth in her students, both personally and with their dancing, makes her heart smile! Her favorite things to do besides dancing are watching the NBA, road trips, reading (Miss Susan was the former Community Relations Manager for Barnes & Noble in Holland, MI, before moving to Savannah), and caring for animals (neighborhood cat lady!). Opening OFF BROADWAY has been a dream come true.

Mikayla Tillman is a Georgia Southern Alumni with her degree in Rehabilitation Science for Physical Therapy. She has been trained in ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, tap, character, musical theatre, and jazz. She has attended dance workshops with DMI and attended special dance classes taught by dancers featured on So You Think You Can Dance including Kathryn McCormick from Step Up Revolution. Mikayla has competed in dance competitions such as DMI, Celebrity, Revolution, Encore, Inspire, Adrenaline, Fusion, DTI, Access Broadway, Headliners, Showstoppers, IDC, Platinum and Nexstar. She has been in several productions of the Nutcracker and Dracula with the Columbia City Ballet and has danced in special performances throughout the Savannah area. Mikayla has been a part of the Off Broadway family for several years
and can’t wait to be a part of many more!

Mina Vance grew her passion for dance as a young girl training in all styles with a specific focus in ballet. She grew to expand her knowledge and love for all styles when she was accepted into the dance department at her performing arts high school in Dayton, OH. Mina spent her summers training in New York with some of the countries best choreographers at Broadway dance center, Stage Door Manor and Pulse conventions. She then went on to discover her passion of competitive dancing and was hired to teach summer dance camps, and judge dance competitions with Showcase America, UDA, and Ameridance. Mina loved dance so much she decided to study Kinesiology (the study of movement) at the University of Kentucky with a special focus on enhancing dancer and gymnast performance. While In college Mina danced professionally with Movement continuum contemporary company in Lexington, KY for five seasons. Minas love for dance and freelance choreography has taken her all of the country teaching and choreographing with a special focus in Hip Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theater and Jazz.

Katie Brophy has a BFA degree from USF in Dance Performance with a concentration in Modern. She has also studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary/Lyrical and Precision in college as well. She has attended the Rockettes Summer Intensive for 3 years, as well as a professional workshop with former Rockette Rhonda Malkin in 2019 and 2022. Last year she attended the Full Radius Dance Company Intensive in Atlanta last July. She took contemporary, hip hop, and Pilates classes in Paris in June and worked with Moving Current Dance Collective in Tampa, FL. Katie is currently in her first season with the Burlap Sakk Contemporary in McDonough, GA.

Brianna is 20 years old and has been dancing since the age of two and competing since the age of five. She is currently in school to become a paramedic. She has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary/lyrical. She has participated in the Columbia city ballet nutcracker in 2018 as a party parent, 2019 as a licorice twist, and 2022 as an arch angel. In 2019 she participated in the LA Dance Magic Final Cut in Los Angeles California, where she attended master classes from participants of So You Think You Can Dance, World of Dance, as well as a previous Director of the Phoenix Ballet. In 2023 she won 1st overall with her tap solo as well as crowned Encore title winner for the Jekyll Island event. She is certified in CPR and will be instructing our All-Stars class.
