KRISTIN MUELLER

I started dancing at four at Studio 3D, a recreational studio in Deerfield, Wisconsin. I began by taking just Ballet for many years, but eventually expanded to all dance forms.  After 14  years at my dance studio, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for dance. There I received professional training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Body Movement, and African Dance.  In 2010, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Dance, Sociology, Women’s Studies, and Psychology of Women and Children. In college, I took dance class every day, not only learning technique, but also the history of each genre, and how to teach dance. The education I received helped me better understand not only how to become a better dancer, but also to understand how children’s minds work and the ways I could change their self-esteem and personal value through dance.

I challenge my classes not only with technique and choreography but to find themselves through this art. What I wish for and teach in my classroom is confidence. I want students to walk into the studio, leave everything at the door, release all their emotions through every movement, look up at themselves and believe in the person they see in the mirror.  I want them to know that dance is their safe place, a place to express who you are and become a role model to others.

I am the mother of three children; Jackson, Adleigh, and Isla.  I met my husband Camden in 2006 at my old dance studio and we have been together since. We decided to make our life goal come to fruition this year and make the big move from the Midwest to the South. We’re so excited to start our life here and keep shining our light and passion onto new people and making amazing adventures. I’m very excited for my new dance family and the memories we’ll make at Off Broadway!

She is most excited to be a part of the wonderful team at Off Broadway!

ASHLEY MORRIS

Ashley Morris is a 2015 graduate from Kansas State University where she received a bachelor of science degree in interior design.  Ashley is originally from Kansas City, KS but recently, she moved to Ft Stewart with her husband and 1 year old son. She is a local Georgia licensed REALTOR here with Coldwell Banker Southern Coast, willing to help anyone with their real estate needs. She is so excited to finally be in a place with warm and sunny weather!

While in college, Ashley was a member of the KSU Dance Team three years. She had the opportunity, each year, to go to NDA collegiate camp and in 2012 be on the nationals team and perform among her best friends in Daytona, FL. After college Ashley went on to cheer in the NFL for the Kansas City Chiefs for four years. Throughout her time on the team she was selected to represent her team twice in attending ProAction Dance, served her 4th year as her groups Co-Captain, and was nominated for Pro Bowl in the 2018 season.

When she moved to Savannah she knew she wanted to find a studio to teach at with a great dance family! Dancing has been such a major part of her life and she hopes to help other dancers lives change because of dance as well. She will be teaching jazz and hip hop classes. Ashley is excited to get to work with everyone and keep them growing as dancers and as young people.
